Saadet Party Provincial President Salih Şen stated that recent visits by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the US signify a shift in brutal plans. He remarked:
"According to this plan, Gazans will be exiled to Jordan or Egypt, and if necessary, the US will send troops to Gaza. They imply that: 'We couldn’t defeat the fighters, despite all the brutality we faced, we couldn’t take Gaza. We lost in the field but we will win at the table.' But I swear, Gaza, which you are trying to encircle from the skies, land, and sea, will not submit to you, either on the ground or at the negotiating table."
Şen condemned Trump’s statements, emphasizing that only Gazans will decide the future of Gaza and reiterated that the region's countries should take necessary actions against the mentality attempting to take Gaza without firing a single shot.
